I am preparing myself to do some very new things. Things I have never done before. In fact, the things I am currently planning are not remotely similar to to anything in my background of experience. But they are things that I believe God wants me to do. Things that I feel I must do to grow in the professional speaking dimension. Things that appear powerfully challenging. Still, I feel great about these directions because, they are pursuits that I want to do. Furthermore, I believe that I am destined to do them . So, here Slam goes into new challenges and adventures in 2015.

Tim talking about The Book

My current feelings must be a little like Peter felt, when he heard Jesus call him, to come to Him walking on the water…. There was this anxious anticipation that he could do it, because Jesus said so. But at the same time, the nervous anxiety that it was something he had never done before and fearful of the chances for failure.

I think healthy new ventures are always this way: A combination of healthy optimism and honest fear. Still, we must dare venture out on the water to find the new lessons that God would have for us. Even if we fall, He will be there to pick us up!

So here are some #Slamisms that I believe will help you and yours to have a Merry Christmas and the foundation for Happy New Year!

1- Positive change always starts where your at! Some of my greatest triumphs are the result of believing when the odds were against me!

2- Powerful resolutions are often found at the bottom. Do not forget to seize the opportunity of a difficult day.

3- Sometimes great resolution is born in moments of “this far but no further” determination.

4- Remember; the good book teaches us that: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

5- The brightest visions are often born on the darkest nights. Consider Bethlehem, for an example.

6-God has arms that will hold you at your weakest, eyes that will see you at your darkest & a heart that will love you at your worst.

7- Faith believes, before the evidence transpires. Great outcomes are born by believing in spite of challenges.

8- Sometimes courage just weathers the storm believing a better day is coming, even when it is not in sight.

9- Don’t forget that God’s love was born in a manger. The greatest possibilities for your life may be born in humble circumstance.
