The challenge in learning Major life lessons is they involve more than mental consent. They must be built on internal conviction! What costs and challenges us the most is often also that which teaches us and benefits us the greatest. The price we pay for a lesson can often intensify the benefit gained, if we truly let our Waterloo’s teach us! Often children squander precious & Priceless Gifts from parents because they didn’t learn them & earn them by the sweat of work! Our best lessons are not those given to us but those worked by God and experience through us, in the course of life and trial. When a lesson is paid for with a steep price, it is not soon forgotten! The old saying is that more lessons are caught-than taught/That which is birthed in us is stronger than that which is given to us. Give thanks for and learn from your experiences, especially your difficult one’s. They are the ones you will not soon forget and that you are most likely able to help others learn. / Off I go, to teach a Karate class.
